Babysitters

Cort had his first babysitters this week! His very first babysitter was Molly Burns! She kept him for me while I ran a few errands! Then the very next day his Grandmommie and Grandpa(Chris' parents) kept him for Chris and I to go out to dinner. Cort did well and seemed to enjoy hanging out with some new people for a change! We certainly missed him but enjoyed getting out. It wasn't very difficult to leave him....I guess when you are leaving him with people that you know love him lots, it makes it easier.



Cort also had his first playdate! We hung out with two other new mom's and their babies- Sophie and Zack. Sophie is just a week older than Cort and Zack is just one day younger. We had a good time and Cort did well hanging out in someone else's house for the day. It was neat to already see their different little personalities.




















Great news - the prevacid( his reflux medicine) is doing the trick! He feels so much better and feeding is so much more pleasant!
Cort's 11 weeks old now and just keeps growing up. I can't believe how much he has already changed. Every day he turns more and more into my little boy instead of my little baby. Everyday I learn something new about him!
Some of Cort's current favorite things:

1. His mobile( I think he would lay in bed all day and watch it if I would let him)
2. The star(AKA his very best friend) on his play gym - it always makes him smile
3. Bathtime
4. Diaper changes - I think he's a streaker at heart!
5. About 5:30 everyday when his Daddy get home ( AWWWW)
6. Morning time when he gets to come into bed with me to get his medicine( his strawberry appetizer)
