So we have finally been able to spend a full 24 hours with our son!!! Better yet - a full 24 hours with both of them!!
Cohen's first day home has been great. He had a good night and we actually slept a little too. We were worried fear would get the best of us but once again, our God is faithful. He gives us peace and rest. We trusted God with Cohen's life for 4 months and we are trying our best to trust Him with it now as well.
We took Cohen to the doctor for a baseline weight check and he weighte 5 lbs 15 oz. Getting really close to 6lbs!! Yea!! Sorry it's a quick post - we're about to give Cohen a bath and head to bed.
Here's the whole slideshow from Cohen's homecoming.
Enjoy!

Hey Guys, I am so happy for you. Cohen is such an amazing miracle...proof that we serve a God who holds it all, gives life and makes all things new. Thanks for sharing your story. I will miss seeing you guys at the hospital...but not really. I'd rather see pics of your entire family at home.
Love, Ashley Adams
That was beautiful Im so glad you are home!
I will continue praying for you, and being blessed by your story.
I don't know who your photographer was but "They Rock". It was beautifully captured. Congratualtions on a beautiful family.
God is good isn't He!
Cort was very happy to see mommy, daddy and baby Cohen coming home.
May God continue to strengthen little Cohen and protect him.
God Bless

So I thought about you guys this morning, when God reminded me of this verse..."When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you. Isaiah 43:2
I was linked to your blog by a friend and I just wanted to leave a quick comment to tell you how happy I am for your family. God has truly shown His presence in your lives. You have such amazing faith and your story shows that miracles do happen. Prayers to your family. I wish little Cohen the best.
Welcome Home Cohen! I am so happy to see your entire family together at home. God is faithful to answer prayers.

What a wonderful show to behold this morning! I'm glad I had a tissue available...you might want to put some type of warning on that slideshow..."Beware...Will cause tears!" Thank you for sharing!

Welcome home Cohen! The slideshow was absolutely beautiful!
Hello--
I have wanted to write but not sure what to say or how to say it. I have only met you one or two times, I live across the street from your parents, The Courtney's. I sit in awe tonight at the writings and updates. The strength you and Chris have had to "hold it all together" and have everyone informed at the same time is incredible.
I had a baby 5 1/2 weeks early. I remember what it was like at 24 weeks to go into labor the first time and listen to the Dr.s and what they thought we should do and what we left it to God to do. I now have a happy and healthy almost 9 year old.
Cohen's story is just so incredible and the way you have told it is beyond touching. Praise God that he is doing well and has come home.
I look forward to continuing to read your blogs and following Cohen's life. He has a big life ahead of him I think. God has big plans for that little boy. I look forward to meeting him one day.
Peace be with you, Chris and those beautiful boys.
Isn't bringing home a "not supposed to come home-er" absolutely wonderful! While Cohen and Joshua were different medically speaking, we completely understand the joy of bringing home a baby that wasn't "supposed" to come home. SOOO glad he's home! So glad you're doing well! YAY COHEN!
What a beautiful boy! Thanks for keeping us up-to-date. The slide show is a great idea and a great way to let us participate in your homecoming! I am SO, super-duper excited for you!!! I am sharing your story with people all around and praising God! Thanks for letting Him shine through you and for being so open and honest through this all!
Awwww! So sweet. Thanks for sharing the homecoming!
