Monday Morning.

This is Kelley. I just received a phone call form Emily as she was walking to the NICU. That's right, walking from her car to the NICU. I think she is doing really well, let's continue to pray for her strength, healing, and restful sleep for both she and Chris. They got home OK yesterday, Chris gave Cort his bath and put him to bed, and according to Em's mom, it sounds like they slept OK last night.
Emily gave me a quick update on Cohen. He is doing really well. They are going to increase the number of bottles he takes. His respiration is still doing well. At this point, they believe that once he is able to take all of his feedings orally, Cohen will be able to come home. They are hoping to talk to the doctor again soon to learn more.
They are going to try to update the blog daily, keep praying, but if you don't hear anything, please know that no news is good news!

What a blessing to see Cohen doing so good on his own, answer to prayer is so great. Praying for more and more health and healing for mom and baby.
Praying for his feedings to increase and you can take him home.

Hi Emily and Chris..
Though I don't know you, I will be in constant prayer for Cohen. God is surely good! I heard about him in my Sunday school class at Lakeshore Drive Church of God in Camden!
Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in His ways. You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours. Psalm 128:1,2

What a blessing he is! And, so beautiful! Thank you for sharing this story. I found your blog through a couple others. We too have a story about a baby surviving odds. I will be praying for your family.
