Cohen is 3 weeks old today!!! In some ways it seems like it's been just 3 days and other ways it feels like 3 months!!! It's so strange that he will be one month old soon but has only been home for 3 days.
He is adjusting pretty well to being at home. He sleeps a lot which is a bit foreign to me because Cort was a horrible daytime sleeper from the start! Cohen seems to have a fussy period about once a day but it is sporadic as far as when it is. He still fusses after a good many of his feeds but it's not nearly as bad as Cort was so I'm hoping it's just still his little body adjusting and maturing and not a sign of reflux. No projectile vomiting like Cort so far so that's a blessing!!!
We are getting about as much rest as you would expect. We are still getting up every 3 hours at night to feed him so sleep is def. a bit broken but we are able to sleep without worrying about him which is totally a gift from God.
I can't decide if he likes to be swaddled or rather maybe Cohen can't decide if he likes to be swaddled! Cort loved it but I don't think Cohen likes his arms being pinned down.
Cort has adjusted well so far. He doesn't seem to mind Cohen being around and he will show him toys and things all that time. He will occasionally ask us to put Cohen in his bed if we are holding him but other than that he hasn't shown a lot of jealousy issues yet. Of course, we have had someone staying with us so he gets plenty of one on one attention right now from someone most of the time.
I've got new pictures but haven't loaded them on the computer yet - I'll try to do that tomorrow.

Your story just keeps getting better and better. Praise God!
I know all about the every three hour feeding we had to do that with Alex for months, per doctors orders, not Alex's. finally we are sleeping through the night.
Glad things are worry free at night.
I love that this post was so very "normal". I am so excited about what God has done for you!!! :)
Continuing to pray for you. Cohen is gorgeous! What a miracle you are living out....I am so thankful for the peace you feel.
In Him,

Praise the Good Lord Jesus for such a "normal" sounding update! Thank you for letting us continue to share in such a beautiful story defining how God IS all able. May his blessings continue to flow ever so abundantly!
Praise God for His faithfulness and for His gift of faith in you. Cohen is amazing and he has a great family! Thank you for being so consistent with posting so we can all know how you're all doing and so we know how to continue to pray for you...it's exciting to check in and see Cohen's progress.
HAPPY 3 weeks Birthday Cohen!!
What a blessing, 3 Weeks!! Cohen sounds like he is doing so good right now. So good you are able to sleep (when you can) without worry. God is so good and He is watching over all of you. How sweet for you all to be home. Prayers continue here.

Y'all are doing a great job of keeping us updated...and we appreciate it! I know you are sleep deprived and plenty busy. Praise God for His continued blessings in your lives and for the strength and peace He hands you daily.
I stumbled across your blog after one of my friends got me to reading Susie's (Joshua's mom)blog.
I just want to let you guys know that I am so happy for your family and Cohen. While I was reading your entries the hymn "God Is So Good" started going through my mind. God really is good, even through our trials!
I'll continue to life your family up in my prayers.

Hi!
An anonymous email sent me a link to your blog. Your son is gorgeous and such a blessing! My 13 month old Owen had a very similar story. He was diagnosed with lethal skeletal dysplasia but made it. He does have achondroplasia, the most common form of dwarfism but is happy and healthy. There is a whole world of bloggers out there with similar stories. Once you settle in I would love to talk to you!
Happy 3 week birthday Cohen!
