Last night was a bit of an adjustment with the new room. He's well taken care of but it is a very tight room and we had grown accustomed to the privacy of his space in the NICU. It's not very conducive for visitors, using our laptop, or playing music. We grew more use to it this morning and are just glad that he is needing more minimal care at this point.
We spoke with the doctors today and they were happy with his feedings so he is now moving to 2 bottles in a row and then 1 tube feed for rest. If he does that well for the next few days they will move him to all bottles and then he gets to come home!!!! Hopefully those transitions go well and he'll be home by Easter( and Chris' birthday!)
They are weaning him off of the room air as well so hopefully he will tolerate that well.
Other good news - he passed his hearing screening today!!!!!! Yea!!!!!

I brought my children to the computer to show them the pictures and tell them about God's miracles. You have no idea the amazing things God is doing through your story. Praying in Wilmington,NC!!

Wonderful, wonderful news. God is great! Your story and the likelyhood that Cohen may be coming home in the same blessed week that our Lord returned home some 2000 years ago simply seems completely appropriate. We remain strongly behind you all daily. Bless you for blessing all of us through your sharing!

We are still praying! Thanks for the pics and the updates. Our daughter Kayden loves seeing baby Cohen! We have taught her that God has made him better because of everyone praying for him. Hope he get to come home soon!

Wow, it seems like Cohen just continues to get stronger every time I get onto the blog to check. The comments above about Cohen's return home being so fitting on Easter gave my whole body chills...Cohen certainly is God's child and He is watching over him, touching Him and using Him in so many ways!
God continues to amaze! What an incredible Lord we serve!
Praises to the Great Lord we serve!! His love endures forever!
Ohh, I have chills. We brought a miracle baby home the day before Easter three years ago. There's nothing like it and I'm praying you find out what I mean!!! Praise you, Father! Thank you for letting me watch you roll the stone away one more time....
I hate not being in Greenville right now, but I'm so full of joy to hear of Cohen's progress. God has strongly impacted the lives of so many people in Columbia through Cohen's life. God has such great plans!
