Chris, Cort, and I have been traveling a lot lately. This weekend we just got to be home - all weekend. It was great! Friday night we just went to Whole Foods, walked around, and actually ate dinner there. Then we came home and watched a movie. It was so nice to just not really be doing anything. It only got better on Saturday. We hung out at home all day except a quick run to Target to get Cort a pool. We decided to get a small pool for a back yard because Cort currently thinks the big pool is too cold. He enjoyed this smaller one much more.











Saturday night our friends Ryan, Molly, and Kate( their daughter) came over for dinner. We hadn't been able to hang out in almost a month, which is way too long for us. We cooked out and Kate enjoyed Cort's pool too. So did Chris and Ryan.

Cort tried a sippy cup for the first time. He seemed to like it and caught right on. I think he enjoyed chewing it more then drinking it right now but he does like water so that will be good later on.




We got Cort this "wubanub" a few months ago but just now does he really hold on to it and use it like he's suppose to.

Cort loves to read books. He always looks at the pages as if he is really reading them - it is so cute. It's a favorite time of Daddy's.


It's been nice to be home.
