PS Cort is over his illness. He stopped running a fever last Thursday but wasn't quite back to his normal self ( ie sleeping through the night and taking naps) until Monday. We're glad to have him back!!!!!

Growing!!!
One of my sister's good friends had a great idea and twist on marking your child's growth on the door jam. Using a piece of a wood from your local hardware store you can create a decorative growth stick for the door jam that you can take with you if you move!! Two of my friends and I spent the day working on growth sticks for our kids. Here is how Cort's turned out. I pretty proud of it if I do say so myself!!!

AWESOME IDEA!!!!!! could you please send a little bit more info about what size piece of wood and other pertinent info so I might could try to do one for Tallon!! I love the airplanes on Cort's. Did you use a stencil or are you just that artistic!!!!!!

Very cute. My parents have lived in the same house since they got married and they did the same thing but on the actual door frame in their bedroom. They measured all four kids on our birthdays each year and marked it on the door frame.
It's a great idea to make one that you can take with you when you move! You did a great job!
