This weekend, we had a "Sip and See" for one of my good friends, Miranda. For those of you who aren't from the south - that's basically a southern way of saying a baby shower after the baby is born. Sip on some "tea" and see the baby. It's a somewhat common thing to do for subsequent pregnancies. It was the perfect size 12-15 girls and we also showered Miranda with loads of diapers....exactly what the third girl of the family needs!!
We had yummier food than just tea and greatly enjoyed the girly hang out time. I have to toot my horn just a bit with the diaper cake. :) It's my favorite of any I've made before..
Brooke is one adorable little baby. She fits in well with her older two sisters at home!!
While us girls were chatting it up over at Kelley's house and loving on a sweet babe, Daddy took the boys downtown for the annual "touch a truck." ( yes, we may live in the south, but we don't celebrate new trucks like babies at a baby shower... you didn't think that did you?) All sorts of trucks in all shapes and sizes line the downtown streets and allow kids to climb up in them.
My super creative husband put the bumbo in the wagon so he could take the boys in that instead of the stroller!! (Chris said that Cohen is crying here because he stopped pulling the wagon to take the picture - apparently Cohen did not think the picture was worth the stop.)

Brooke is a cutie baby!! Good job on the diaper cake too :) We had the touch a truck here last Summer and love it too..poor Cohen he just wasn't in the mood to have his picture taken :) Good Daddy fun!!!
OK...if there was any doubt before, I am now certain, I do indeed live under a rock. I've never heard of the "Touch a Truck". And my boys would have loved it. Well, if it comes every year we will have to look next year. It looks like your boys had a great time. Poor Cohen... they don't like to stop for anything, do they. :) Great job on the diaper cake. I love the pink and brown.
Yep--diaper cake is awesome:) It is still decorating my dining room! Your pictures from the shower turned out great. Thanks again! We have diapers stuck in every spare corner of the house-what a blessing!
