We went to Delaware to Alfred I Dupont to see a geneticist and orthopedic doctor with experience in Dwarfism( Dr. Bober and Dr. MacKenzie). It was a great trip and just what we were hoping for. I will get an update up about that and all we learned but first I want to catch up on a few things that took place before we left.
I hate getting this behind on the blog...it makes me miss documenting important moments to me...like the two year mark from our 20 week ultrasound with Cohen, infant and pregnancy lost day(when I remembered and prayed for so many sweet mothers that I missed), dwarfism awareness, and all the little fun things that happen with my boys on a daily basis. I keep thinking I'll catch up, get back in the rhythm and actually write about all the things floating around in my head....maybe I will one day...maybe I need to let it go a little....
either way...here's a few pics and events I wanted to get down of the boys....
Cort started 3K this year at a church nearby. It's the same place he's been doing MDO once a week for the past two years. He goes just twice a week and he really likes it.
I got to go to the Pumpkin Pizza Party in his class the week before Halloween. I was in charge of making the game!! The kids had fun and it was neat to get to see him in that element. I didn't get a lot of pics but here's a few...

The weekend before Halloween, we went to Columbia to celebrate Chris' Granddad's 90th birthday party!! It's been a long year for him with lots of medical ups and downs so we were all especially thrilled to celebrate this great milestone with him!!
Our niece, Lilah,
Cousins at play...

And finally, trick or treating!! We walked around this year with a few neighbors. The kids had a lot of fun even though we got caught in a big down pour!! We took refuge in a neighbors house( thanks, Katie!!) and Chris ran to get the car. Cort had a blast handing out candy to the kids braving the rain. He would open the glass door and yell, "hey, our lights on and we have candy!" at all the kids walking by. Too cute.
