Coffee For EJ

A while back I posted about a sweet family we know through our church and how you could help them. I wrote about it here. Well, EJ has made it Remuda Ranch to receive treatment for her eating disorder. Praises all around!! I know the family is so thankful for the support and prayers from everyone to get here. There are still several ways I want to ask for your continued help...

1. Please Pray for EJ while she is there....that she would be open to treatment and that God would bless her time there with healing.

2. Pray for her family as they stay here, terribly missing their daughter, but knowing they are doing the right thing.

3. Pray for them as they are about to get to visit her for some time. Praise that they are able to do this!!

4. Praise that the program allowed them to come without the full tuition so far and Pray that they can raise the remainder of the money they need to pay for her stay. If you feel led, you can donate here, and I want to tell you about their newest fundraising endeavor...

A local, coffee shop, Liquid Highway, has been so generous to partner with them and sell EJ labeled coffee. I'm not a coffee drinker but from what I hear, it's great coffee. The bags are $10 and EJ's family gets $5 from each sale!!! It's a win/win...you get great coffee, and this family gets the help they need and I think, deserve!!

It's only a local drive as it's too expensive to do the shipping but if you are in the area you can contact me( email in profile) to find out how to get some coffee, check out their website by clicking on her sidebar, or starting this Friday, for the next 4 weeks, you can pick it up at Liquid Highway on E. North Street from 7:30-9:30am!!

We've seen first hand how amazing and necessary your local community support is as you go through great struggles. To see people come together to love on each other is so beautiful!! And it was truly amazing for us to feel God's love and a body of believers surround us. I am so thankful for them to have that too!! This family has been so humble and grateful as they have reached out to their local community and allowed us to come along side them in this journey. And while they have never asked me to blog about this, I just couldn't help from wanting to share the great update and ask for your prayers!!We are blessed to know them and we're all rooting for EJ.

How wonderful to hear that EJ made it in for treatment!!! I just checked your previous post... it seems I missed it somehow. The boys are way too cute in their costumes! It looks like Cohen took his pumpkin guts pretty well! Boys! I hope you are all doing well at duPont this week! Sorry we missed you!
