For the Ducks

On a pretty, but a little chilly day in early spring, we headed downtown to the park. Actually Chris helped a friend who move out of their house and I randomly took the boys to Monkey Joes with some free passes while he was doing that and THEN we went downtown. It was a long but really fun filled day.

In between a picnic and walking all the way from Falls Park to Century Park( and Cort walked the whole way!!), we stopped to check out the ducks and feed them a few scraps from our sandwiches. This was the first time Cohen really got into it. He just loved it. He doesn't have much of a throw on him yet so he was a bit of a tease to the ducks, but he enjoyed it just the same! The ducks also gave Cort a good incentive for the long walk because he pretended to be chasing a lost duck all the way down the river until we got to our destination!!

I love family days like this!!
