Cort turned 8 months old on Monday!! With each passing month, I just can't believe how big he is getting. He is such a blast to get to know. Everyday he moves closer and closer to be a little boy instead of a little baby. This past month has been a lot of fun. He just becomes so much more aware of his surroundings and his ability to interact with them. He isn't crawling yet( no complaints here;)) but manages to move around a good bit through scooting( i call it inch worming) and rolling. He gets up on all fours and rocks. He will move his legs but not his arms very much.

He loves to pull up and much prefers to walk holding on to your hands instead of crawling. He's already such a boy! He loves to climb and he never stops moving! Ever since he was born he is constantly kicking his legs. Taking his pictures for 8 months was not easy.

He continues to love to eat solids. He will now finger feed cheerios, puffs, cheese, wagon wheels, small pieces of bread, banana, and some little veggies. He likes cheerios, bread, and cheese the best I think. He will drink from a sippy cup and through a straw but won't hold the cup. He naps three times a day. He goes to bed between 7 and 7:30 and wakes up between the same times in the morning.

He babbles a lot. His noises consist of the following:
* babababababab
*blablablabla
*yayayayayay
*mamamama
* tongue clicking
*lip smaking
*fake cough for attention ;)
His favorite being blablablabla.
He is starting to have a little separation anxiety. Not so much from Chris or I specifically, just he doesn't like to be alone very much.
He still loves musical or noise making toys. He has started shaking and banging things to make noise.His favorite new toys are the piano, baby see n' say, animal train, leap frog table, pop up animals, winnie the pooh( he sings), and leap frog alphabet ball. He can manipulate his toys much better now. He is able to push and pull most things to make the noises. He is starting to get object permanence. He still loves books and can turn the pages.
He really loves being outside and likes getting out and running errands. He also enjoys playing with fellow babies. He smiles at everyone he sees and everyone always comments on how happy he is.

He is happiest in the morning and in the evenings. He is absolutely ecstatic when Chris gets home. It is so sweet. He enjoys bathtime. He has started splashing a lot and really likes playing with the toys.
He has two teeth. The bottom ones. His hair has gotten so much longer an curls around his ears. It's really cute! He is thickening up a little bit but weighs in at only about 15lbs!! I think he has slowed down on the height a little but he still longs long and lean.
I feel so blessed to have such a precious little boy.
