First Christmas

Wow. It's been forever since I have posted- sorry for that . The week before Christmas was crazy, then we were out of town for a week, then I lost my camera(found it) ......so here I am , just now posting for Christmas.
The week before Christmas Cort got really sick- long story short...103.5 fever, tonsillitis, 2 doctors visits, refusing to eat, drink, lost weight, threw up , cut a tooth, thought he got better so went home for Christmas, 103 fever again, another doctors visit, antibiotic, still refusing to eat, sleep, drink....finally got better.
I was really worried about him because of the lack of eating and mainly the lack of drinking. I am so thankful that we were able to keep him hydrated and am super thankful for a baby with a good temperament. Don't get me wrong, he had his meltdowns but for all he had going on I feel like he handled it really well. By Christmas morning he was probably back to 80% so we ended up having a great morning. He really enjoyed all of his toys. He didn't really get into the boxes and bows like everyone said he would but he did enjoy his new toys. He was totally spoiled by both sets of grandparents and we came home with a car full of goodies. He especially loves a few... tent, Elmo, cars and car mat, ball popper, mp3 player, wooden puzzles, new books, and his wagon!!!
All in all his first Christmas wasn't exactly like we pictured but we really had a great time seeing all our friends and family and in the end had a great Christmas. I am happy to report that after 11 days of it Cort was finally back to himself in full swing. I almost forgot what a fun baby I had!!
Enjoy the Christmas pics......
