7 months

Cort turned 7 months old on Friday!!! I just can't believe we have already come this far. As always, being Cort's mom continues to be wonderful and he continues to bring us lots of joy. We are so thankful for all that God has given us and for all the blessings we have seen through having Cort. There hasn't been a lot of major milestones since his 6 month birthday. He continues to love to stand holding on to things, he has gotten a lot more interested in his toys, and can manipulate them better. He is flirting with pulling up on an object if he gets in the right position. He flirts with crawling... he will occasionally go up on all fours and he often brings his knees up under his little bottom and pushes forward a little but he doesn't really use his arms. His personality just develops more and more. He is such a happy little baby. I know I say that all the time but I just love it. He isn't even moving yet but already tries to get into everything. He loves the phone, remote, my hairbrush, any glass of water, coke, tea, etc., the magazine basket, and the water dispenser on our fridge. He actually fusses for what we are eating sometimes. I love to see him ask for food. He still eats two meals a day and loves his little puffs and wagon wheels(thanks rebekah for the tip). He loves sitting up in the grocery carts and in highchairs. Chris and I actually get to go out to eat a little more often now. He loves peek-a boo and singing songs. His favorite toys are still the musical ones. He has started shaking things to make them make noise.
I still love feeding him before bed at night. He plays with my hair and is so cuddly. He is sleep ing well at night and still takes three naps during the day.




On another note, I went to a great consignment sale on Friday. I am talking three huge warehouse rooms full of baby items. It was great. I was looking for a few specific things for cort..1) a little push toy he can cruise around on when he's ready 2) a little piano he fell in love with at church 3) an activity table( specifically Leap frog) 4) a few fall clothes to jumpstart his wardrobe, I found all of it except the activity table. I got a push walker for $2.00!! and the exact piano I wanted for 3.00!!! I also got several good little fall outfits. Here's my loot!!!

Cort has been working on his teeth again and has started making a really funny face to feel his gums. It's cute!!! And today(3 days after his 7 month birthday) I finally feel a tooth!! It's just a tiny corner of one but it has broken through the gum!!!! Yea!!!!!!
