As it was for so many, Easter was not all that warm here in SC. Cort did not wear his intended Easter outfit and I had to laugh at the sandals( with socks) and the corduroy jacket Sunday morning. Church was nice. We had baptisms sunday morning and it was wonderful.
My mom came up for the weekend and my Dad joined us Sunday when he got off of work.
It was a great weekend.
Cort loved his Easter basket. He went for the Elmo eggs that I found immediately. They were def. a favorite - thought I think it's a close tie with the bubble blower. I constantly hear "Bubble, Bubble" all day and if even gets a glimpse of the little dino blower you can be we'll be playing with bubbles for at least 20 minutes before we can do anything else.
Once again, Cort enjoyed the easter egg hunt. He would find a few eggs and then run off and play with something else but then totally unprompted he would start searching for eggs again - it was really cute.
Chris' twin sister, Jessica, came to visit briefly. Cort enjoyed hanging out with his Aunt Jessica.
Chris and I got Cort a sandbox - not for Easter- but we did happen to get it this weekend while we had access to my mom's car to fit it in. It's a huge hit.
My mom got Cort this bike while we were in Target looking at sandbox toys. Cort loves it. Doesn't the first picture look like Christmas morning or something with his fleece snowflake jammies on?
