recent happenings

I have to apologize again for being such a bad blogger. Below is a lot pictures and stuff that's been going on over the past few weeks. As well as a late and brief 15 month post.

Cort loves his blocks(baks) these days. It is by far a favorite toy. He is getting really good at the legos and will actually connect them and build them up a little bit.


We spent all day one Saturday in the yard. We are replacing an area in the yard that is full of little pebbles. Cort loves playing in the pebbles but they are a perfect little chocking hazard so we are putting pavers down instead. Cort really enjoyed being outside and especially liked trying to help Daddy in the yard. At the end of the day, Chris hooked up a sprinkler pool- Cort really enjoyed looking at but wasn't too sure about actually playing in it.







Cort loves the pavers just as much as the rocks. We aren't quite done paving so there are still some rocks for him to play with. We moved his sandbox down to the pavers so now that whole area is by far is favorite outside. One of his new things is to "jump" around on the pavers. He doesn't actually get off the ground but he bends his knees and pops up. He just beams with pride as he does. Too cute.










Cort decided one morning that his milk needed a ride on his airplane.




Cort thinks he's really cool in his new sunglasses. He smiles so big when i put them on him. Now, if he would just stop taking them off. He gets excited about them and takes them off to look at them and then tries to put them back on which doesn't happen successfully.


We went to Columbia this weekend to visit with Chris' family and to go to my cousin's little boy's 2nd bday party. Unfortunately, i didn't get many pictures. Here's one from the party with Cort's great grandfather. Cort has 6 great grandparents - 4 on my side and 2 on Chris'. How awesome is that?


Kelly, Alejandro and Nicolas came into town too and it was great to get the boys together to play. We went to the zoo on and they both seemed to enjoy it. Chris and I also got to go out with some good friends on Saturday night. It was great to see Jessica and David( and the new house they just bought) Hopefully next time we'll get our boys together.
