New stuff

Cort continues to be so much fun. Here are a few of my favorite things he does or says:

1) 2 new favorite words: turtur( turtle) and faffle( waffle) - this comes out as faffle at it's best but sometimes is apull, wapple, - not to be confused with apple( context clues are very important right now!!!!)

2) He loves stacking blocks - there are 3 sets of blocks he likes to play with. The first, are his legos - he is very intrigued by snapping them together and I just love watching him manipulate the pieces to figure it out. The second, large cardboard bricks - he has 2 favorite things to do with these, one is to have me stack them as high and as quick as i can so that he can run through them to knock them over and the other is to nest the cylinder ones together or to look through them like a telescope. The third, are stacking blocks that are different sizes. These have different pictures on each side -he likes to help me stack them all the way up and then walk around them pointing to the pictures he know the words to and saying the word

3) His morning routine - he wakes up in the morning and then I go in to get him. Here is the routine: 1) pick him up out of the crib 2) change his diaper - during diaper change he plays peekabo with me using his blanket. 3) put his jammie pants back on or not and then he takes the paci out of his mouth while still on the table and says faffle. 4) we go to the crib and he drops his blanket in and takes his paci out and starts to drop it then giggles and puts it back in - I say " where does that paci go?" and then he spits it out into the crib or drops it in and says "uh, oh" and then chants "faffle, faffle" all the way down the hall.
