We had fun going to the park, the zoo, doing Easter egg hunts and we even got to do some outlet shopping about 45 minutes away. When we went to the outlets our little ones were seated either in a carseat, stroller, or high chair for almost 6.5 hours!! They did great and we all got some good clothes for great deals.
Cort just adored Chandler and followed her all over. Chandler did a great job "teaching" Cort how to do things and shared very well. A few funny, sweet, memorable moments:
* while reading books to chandler one night she picked her nose( as lady like as possible) and promptly handed it to her mommy in lieu of eating it( good choice) and then quickly went back in exclaiming, "I'll get one for you too, Elimy( not a mistake - this is what she calls me)." Too funny.
* Cort and Chandler both watch a video before bed - the first night Chandler sat on elephant blanket and Cort in his chair. Cort took one look at Chandler on the blanket and immediately jumped down out of his chair and settled in right next to Chandler on her blanket. Another night - no spot would do except right on Chandlers lap!! Chandler totally tolerated it just leaning to the side to see the video.(pics below)So sweet.
* Chandler has an understanding that all mothers and fathers are named mommy and daddy so she would specifically call Michelle "my mommy" when talking to me or Cort. She took to calling Chris - Uncle Chris daddy when talking to Cort. for example, Cort started crying in the car and Chandler said, "Cort wants his Uncle Chris Daddy"
* If Cort would cry or fuss when i was doing something like changing his diaper or wipe his face Chandler would say, "Cort doesn't like his mommy."
* My friend, Molly came by with her little girls. Kate and Chandler had a great time playing. They danced all around the foyer with Cort right on their tails. They would run down the hall and Cort would then run to the empty foyer and dance around like they had. He wants to be big so badly!!!
* we have rubber ducky in Cort's bathtub - Chris discovered that it will stick to your body and Cort thinks this is really funny. One night Chris sent Cort out of the bathroom with the duck stuck quite well on Cort's forehead. Cort came runny in laughing so hard and so proud of his duck. When I finally pulled it off Cort totally had a hickey on his head!! We could not stop laughing. Thankfully it was gone by morning.

So I finally got on the blog for the first time since our move to get updated on the McGowans...it looks like you've been having so much fun! I didn't realize you had taken pics of Haley and Cort a few weeks back, either--they were cute. It sounds like your visit with your sister and Chandler was great. She is adorable! By the way, I have the girl version of Cort's Easter basket for Haley!
