15 months old

This post is horribly late but here goes a brief monthly check in....

I just continue to love this stage that we are in. New stuff happens everyday and Cort is such a happy little boy. He loves playing outside and is really into mimicking whatever Chris and I are doing. He continues to eat pretty well and does pretty good with a spoon and fork. He still has some trouble doing both the scooping and the getting it in your mouth part down all at one time. He hasn't quite figured out how to flip his wrist well. He continues to say all sort's of new things. A cute new work is datu( thank you) but he only says this when he hands you something not when you give him something. Funny how we learn from our kids the things that we do and say all the time.
He is soooo active. He never sits still. In fact a friend of mine, commented how interesting it was to see the difference between Cort and her daughter, Sophie(same age) as we were playing outside one day. Kelley was able to sit in the hammock while Sophie played in the sandbox and I didn't sit down once as I was chasing Cort all over the yard, up and down the porch, and in and out of the sandbox. Got to love little boys!!!!

I am so excited about the summer - I just know it's going to be so much fun doing all the fun outdoor things. Still holding our breath for the terrible twos. We'll enjoy what we have for now and worry about what's coming later!!!!

Once again, I had horrible time getting him to sit still for a picture. :)
