illness update

Cort had a rough day yesterday too but ate a good bit. His fever danced around 100.5 all day. I thought we were getting better. He spiked a fever of 102.5 last night and has a 101 today. He seems to feel better - more energy( which also equals more fussy).I'm guessing the energy level has increased due to the eating. He will sit up on me instead of just laying on me and will even stand for a second or two without screaming. Going back to the doctor at 1:10pm since this is the 6th day of fever. Don't necessarily expect to learn anything new but she wanted to see him. I'll let you know.....


Another cute story....
This morning while I was fixing his drink he started saying, "Eh,Eh" and pointing in the fridge. I finally figured out that he was pointing to the carton of eggs. I pulled it out and took out an egg trying to see if that's what he was asking for. Sure enough. He took the egg out of my hand, leaned forward and sat in down on top of the stove eye and said, "Hot." So i cooked him a egg
(not exactly the best food when recovering from a stomach bug, I know) He happily ate a bite.
